One of the most enjoyable aspects of working in the photographic industry is the challenge of solving the variety of problems you encounter in the process. To me, that's the name of the game. And, since 1974, when I first started making a living in commercial photography, I have run into the full gamut of challenges.
In 1980, I opened Hartman Studio, specializing in Architectural, Advertising and Annual Report work. This has led to having photographs published in seven countries and having the opportunity to work with some of the finest creative opportunities a photographer could hope for, such as AT&T, Southwestern Bell, Toyota, Detroit Edison, La Quinta, La Mansion Del Rio, H.E.B., Pace Foods, Nikkei, AMD, Diamond Shamrock, Dynapak, 3DI, Lowe Enterprises, Hines, Kimberly-Clark, PPG, Rush Enterprises and Owens Corning.
With the advent of digital photography and a constantly changing palette of creative tools, a new array of tasks is waiting to be conquered... so, call me.
